Whitecoat Pathways Mentorship Program

Guiding the Next Generation Toward a Career in Healthcare

At The Family Pain and Wellness, we believe mentorship can be life-changing.

Over the years, Dr. Annette Lukose has naturally found herself mentoring students, young adults, and families seeking guidance on the path toward healthcare. Many are drawn to her story because they see someone who has overcome hurdles, made sacrifices, and pursued a dream with discipline, faith, and purpose.

As a physician, former competitive BS/MD student, educator, and natural mentor, Dr. Lukose understands how powerful the right guidance can be at the right time.

For a young person, sometimes seeing someone achieve their dreams helps them believe they can take the first step toward their own.

Our Whitecoat Pathways Mentorship Program was created by Dr. Annette Lukose to support motivated students and youth who are interested in medicine, healthcare, and competitive academic pathways. Through personalized guidance, application support, interview preparation, and clinical exposure, we aim to help students gain clarity, confidence, and direction.

Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for:

  • Students and young adults interested in medicine, healthcare, science, or allied health careers
  • Youth exploring competitive academic or healthcare-related pathways
  • Families seeking personalized guidance for a motivated student
  • Students applying to competitive high school, college, BS/MD, pre-med, or healthcare-related programs
  • Students seeking guidance on essays, resumes, interviews, and extracurricular planning
  • Students looking for meaningful clinical exposure through shadowing opportunities
  • Young people who would benefit from mentorship from someone who has personally navigated a competitive path in medicine

A Personal Note from Dr. Lukose

I know how difficult and competitive the path toward medicine can be. I also know how powerful it can be for a young person to have guidance, encouragement, and a real example of what is possible.

Mentorship has always come naturally to me. I have been fortunate to help students learn, grow, and believe more deeply in their potential, and I am excited to continue that work through The Family Pain and Wellness.

My goal is to help students see their potential, understand the path ahead, and take meaningful steps toward their own future in healthcare.

Sometimes seeing someone achieve their dreams inspires a child to take a step toward their own.
